We have called Vienna our home for the past eight years. Melissa is originally from the Salzburg region and Andreas from Germany—and together we’ve built our life here that has grown into something deeply rooted and truly our own.
We live in the beautiful 4th district, which we love for its rare blend of vibrant city energy and a warm, neighborhood-like atmosphere. It’s a place that feels both lively and comforting at the same time.
Since we both work in the hospitality industry, it’s especially important to us to explore, stay curious and experience as much as possible—and to pass that spirit on to our children. Vienna offers the perfect setting for that: green parks, inspiring places, and endless opportunities for little and big adventures.
Our two children complete our happiness. Our daughter, at two and a half, discovers the world with so much curiosity every day, while our little son—just five months old—is only at the very beginning of his journey. Through them, we get to experience the city in a whole new way, one that feels even more meaningful and full of love.
For us, Vienna is not just a place to live, but a place to arrive, to grow and to be together. And that’s what makes it so special for us as a family.
EAT & DRINK

The Café Sacher feels like a little fairytale café in Vienna, with cozy seats and sparkling lights. Here you can try the famous Original Sacher-Torte. It’s a perfect stop, also for kids to relax and enjoy a treat.
The Mamalipa is a cheerful café made especially for kids and families, and it’s right around the corner from us! You can play, get creative and have fun while grown-ups relax with a coffee. There’s a schedule of play sessions you can reserve in advance.
