We’ve been there—packing a pair of heels for a warm-weather trip, only to never take them out of the suitcase. What you’ll actually reach for again and again is something effortless: a pair of sandals that are easy to slip on with sandy feet and a wet swimsuit, but still feel polished enough to go with your chicest caftan. These dressy, strappy sandals are barely there but still pulled together, and can take you from a long, lazy breakfast by the pool right through to an impromptu dinner that turns into dancing. Best of all, they take up basically no room in your suitcase, leaving plenty of space for the things you’ll actually wear.
1. Amanu Constantia Sandal – For a pop of color that still plays well with everything else in your suitcase.
2. Tkees Riley – Like your favorite flip flops, just better.
3. Margaux Wrap Sandal – We love it in black, or the metallic champagne color that hits in between gold and silver, so you can wear it with whatever you have on. Plus their signature hidden padding makes them incredibly comfortable.
4. Emme Parsons Cecilia – A t-strap sandal with the tiniest heel and an undetectable padded insole, so you can wear them for hours on end.
5. K.Jacques St Tropez – These classics feel très Tropezienne, and are made in the town they’re named after. They’re currently available in a few great, punchy colors and some are on sale!
6. Rondini Hindou Sandal – This family-owned business has been making sandals in the heart of St Tropez since 1927, but luckily they ship worldwide if you’re not heading to France anytime soon.
7. Amanu Kibera Sandal – The golden toe-ring is so chic, and just enough bling to dress up a beach coverup.
8. Ancient Greek Sandals Eleftheria – Made of just a few delicate loops of leather and a flat sole, these are as simple as it gets, but still feel incredibly elegant. And they pack so flat you can justify bringing them in each color.
9. Reformation Luna Sandals – The light blue suede feels like a neutral-adjacent pop of color.

K.Jacques x Ciao Lucia Ankle Tie Sandal – The ankle tie looks great and can go the distance up and down Positano’s cobblestone streets (with minimal clacking).
St.Agni T Leather Sandals – Streamlined and very easy to slip on and off, like the elevated version of your favorite flip-flops.
Ancient Greek Sandals Gloria – So easy to slide on, with a gold detail that makes them feel a bit more formal.
Loeffler Randal Lara Sandal – Accented with a little gold ball that has a jewelry-like feel.
Reformation Pina Sandal – They look like The Row for a fraction of the price—and we love the red satin straps!
Rondini Double Tresse – As comfortable as Birkenstocks, but way cuter. The braided straps are supportive and will keep your feet from sliding around even without a heel strap.
