In short… A chic and insidery-feeling place to stay in a very central location.
The surroundings… The Beaumont is just off of Oxford St in Mayfair and a stone’s throw from the residential neighborhood of Marylebone. Plus it’s also very well connected by Tube, and you can pretty much reach most places in central London on foot.

The vibe… I’ve stayed here many times and I always say it feels more like a cool apartment building with a great bar and restaurant than a traditional hotel. While so many lobbies in London’s five-star hotels are crowded and chaotic with tourists and guests milling around, The Beaumont sidesteps that by not having a proper lobby, which I really like.

The rooms… The decor is definitely classic with a subtle deco influence, but not too much. I love the heated bathroom floors, which always make me feel cozy. There’s always a selection of books that are clever, not the standard colorful Assouline ones you find in too many hotel shelves, which is refreshing. Bathrooms don’t have single-use products, but bottles of JW Harris. The beds are so comfortable—really other level. I have friends who always stay here for that reason, and said they’re so great that they even missed a flight once, as they slept through all their alarms.
The wellness… The gym is small, but has a couple of Technogym pieces of equipment and a Pilates reformer. There’s also a sauna.

The food & drink… We are big fans of the Magritte Bar—one of our favorite bartenders in town, Antonino, who we met when he worked at Dukes Bar, is the bar manager there. Nothing better than one of his martinis made in a frozen glass along with their triple-fried fries. It’s a small bar—super intimate, and a nice place to meet up with friends. Their very chic restaurant, Rosi, had just reopened when we arrived, with a whole new look (murals by Luke Edward Hall, pastel banquettes) and menu with British classics like Scotch eggs and homemade pork pies, but also a chicken Kyiv that comes with a very cool leather bib.I had breakfast there every day for four days in a row—it was the perfect spot for meetings.
Date of stay… October 28-November 1, 2025
