In short… Hotel Eldorado is a very charming hotel with a large garden that feels like a country house escape
The vibe… We fell in love with the Eldorado–from its facade to the charming staff to the decor throughout. The interior palette, which is many shades of green, to mirror the garden, is calming and peaceful.
The rooms… There are 26 of them, and while none are the same, they are all well-appointed—walls and closets are upholstered in the most beautiful fabrics. There’s a very smart use of space, with no useless furniture in the room, a bathroom with a huge tub, and great light given the windows onto the garden.
Food and drink… The garden has a charming outdoor restaurant that makes you completely forget you’re in a big city. We had a lovely lunch there, and it was filled with locals from the neighborhood, the 18th arrondissement—Montmartre.
Be sure to…Head to Parc Monceau for a run or a walk, and along the way pass through Rue de Lévis, a pedestrian-only historical market street, with the most beautiful flowers, cheeses and fruits.
